Infuse as a hot or cold drink. Add strong tea or the flowers themselves when cooking savoury and sweet culinary creations:
- Steep flowers in water or milk and add to doughs and pastries etc
- Add flowers directly into water while cooking boiled ingredients e.g. rice or noodles.
- Infuse flowers directly into liqueurs and spirits (create your own colour-changing gin, vodka, …)
- Changes from blue to magenta on addition of acid such as citrus juice, or the gradual generation of acidic conditions
Each pack contains 25g hand-sorted butterfly pea flowers, which is approximately 350-375 premium quality blooms. Use 6-8 blooms for a cup of deep blue tea.
